Prototyping examples
Functional & Visual -as close as possible to the final product
A functional and visual prototype combines operation and appearance in a single model: the product works as intended, and the look and feel is exactly as it will appear in the store or factory.

Visual – assess form and feel
A visual prototype focuses on how the product looks and feels — not on mechanical load or other properties. Examples of applications include design reviews, customer panel research, marketing purposes, or trade show models.

Functional – proof of function
A functional prototype is tested under realistic conditions — load, temperature, operation, assembly, movement, dimensions, and the like.

One-offs – only once and unique
One-off and unique deliveries primarily refer to scale models, artworks, or products with limited functionality.
